Seriously What The Hell is wrong with all these Inter Players! First Mancini, then Materazzi and now Sulley Muntari! These people just cannot stop taking pot shots at their now-departed-to-The Best-Club-In-The-World former Team mate – Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Really fail to understand what the the problem here is. Is it just plain jealousy that Barca choose to bring in Zlatan in their ranks rather than one of these because I am sure they would have jumped ships at the first chance to play for the European Champions.
Inter might have won 4 League titles in a row ( 2 of them were not REALLY won by the, but I guess it all counts ), but on a very CONSISTENT basis they have fared miserably in Europe. They have failed to progress beyond the last 16 in the last 4 years and when they have in the last 2 occasions, they were beaten by Fierce city rivals Milan. Now that the player that was instrumental in bringing Inter back to the top in Italy at least has moved on to the Camp Nou, they have come out all guns blazing against Ibra. Even Jose Mourinho’s big mouth has refrained from throwing mud on Ibra but some of his squad members just cannot focus on their own job at hand. I am sure they will have their hands full defending their area against Ibra and Co ( Co = Messi, Henry, Xavi, Iniesta etc! ) and maybe if they focused a little more on how they are going to manage that, it will serve them better in the game itself.
The comments that do not seem to have gone down too well with these Inter Players have been blown out of proportion by the Media in the first place. And even if we closely review the ‘alleged’ comments, It is very difficult to find anything wrong with it. Inter had remained in the wilderness in Italy for no less than 17 years! They are still to win the Champions League in the modern format and they last one the European Crown back in 1965! Ibra scored 66 goals for Inter in the last 3 seasons and lead them to 3 consecutive League titles. I hope they will keep the facts in the mind before opening their mouths again!
